Me too
I got the implant in November 25
When I got my period it lasted for a week and a few days and was very light. At times I didn't get my period but on other days it would be light and last for a couple of days... it's now May and my period lasted for 2 weeks and I later was having a brown waterly discharge...I went to see a doctor and was given some clotting medicine. The doctor advised me that if it went on for more than 3 days after taking the medication I should get it removed . After taking the medicine the brown discharge only became thicker but never stopped, now I'm getting it removed. I'll try an alternate method.

Good God if you're bleeding that's quite a clear sign that you're not pregnant, that's the whole point of the menstraul cycle lovelys.... Brown discharge is normal I've had it for a while, it is just old blood as you haven't had a full period so have been unable to discharge the decaying womb that makes up a period

I know this was a year ago, how long did it last though? I'm so glad I'm not alone I've been so paranoid about this...

I am experiencing this right now, I have been spotting dark discharge for around 10 days now! Does this go away?? I have had an implant for around a year and haven't had periods. So this is worrying me.

Also happening to me, I'd say it's normal just unsettling and annoying. Often just after or just at the end of a period without the implant, left over blood of a brown colour would make it's way out which is perfectly normal, it's just old blood at the end of the circle. I'm assuming it's the same kind of thing just without the actual period you'd usually get. But if this is really worrying you or if it's an overwhelming amount I'd suggest staying calm and seeing your gp for reassurance.

It should only last at most the same amount of days as you would usually get your period, but every bodies different and every body is trying to adjust to a thing that shouldn't be there, releasing a chemical that shouldn't be released. Give it time, but see a gp if it's becoming overwhelming for reassurance.

So relieved to be reading all these exact same stories. Had the implant fitted 8 months ago and I had inconsistent periods for the first 6 months now I've had stringy brown discharge. I was so paranoid that I could be pregnant but this has calmed me down knowing I'm not the only one. Thank you guys!!!

Ok I've had my implant for a little more than 4 years now and I stopped having a period pretty much the second I got it put in my arm, but as of this past few days I've noticed brown discharge, sometimes barely brown than other times more. It doesn't have a smell or anything but it has literally come out of nowhere, been sleeping with only 1 person the past 5 months and neither of us have am std...i have have chlamydia in the past and I'm trying to not freak myself out...has anyone had this same experience?
