Hi I'm 13 years old and I am concerned about a brown spot on my back it doesn't hurt or itch it's just on my back and I'm kinda worried what it is I've tried to look on google for similar spots like mine but I haven't found any does anybody know what I have? And if so is it bad?

My son who is 25 has had brown spots on his neck on and off for several years. They start small and get bigger, and they dont itch. We have seen the doctor and it is a fungus that he is susceptible to. Any anti-fungal cream from the pharmacy has gotten rid of it. Just ask for something that will treat athletes foot or thrush. Not all brown spots are fungal, they can be psoriasis or dermatitis or something else. Fungal infections are usually in a spot that gets warm and moist such as the feet, neck armpits, groin etc.
