The same thing happened to me, but I didn't have an appetite. I began to lose wt. Hated the morning nausea every morning. Mine turned out to be a tumor in my kidney. Had to have my kidney removed. Hope you are better by now though.

Girl,
You literally just described my life. I've been to numerous doctors, hell, my dad is even a doctor, & no one can find anything wrong with me. I have a low white blood count which makes my immune system low, but they don't think that has anything to do with my chronic nausea. I've tried it all, Prilosec, anxiety meds, a vegan diet, a gluten free diet, NOTHING HELPS. I know this post doesn't point you in the right direction, but know you're not alone.

Curious, but did any of your doctors check you for Celiac disease? Would be a good idea, is a simple blood test. Claylike stools, nausea....inability to gain weight...I'd ask for a test if it were me. Fairly common for doctors not to think to test for it, fairly common for it to be undiagnosed for a long time. Hope you find some answers...

As soon as I wake up I eat a cracker, and it seems to subside. I hate to and the thought of it disgusts me, but it seems to be working for me. Otherwise I can not even sit up, I have to lay very still and avert my mind from it. Sometimes I can talk myself out of vomitting but the cracker helps. I don't drink water until it passes either.

You need to have a scan to check your gallbladder and also get tested for celiac disease. Eat organic and stay away from gmo foods.

I was told by a doctor that over the period of the night my stomach had used up everything in it And it was starting to eat within itself and my metabolism was just going crazy . He also told me that a lot of thin people suffered that had low body fat .I have found the only thing that helps me with this problem is if Right when I wake up I take a mouthful of cold milk and slowly let it run down my throat, sounds crazy but for some reason it has help me for a couple years now. This may not work for everybody but I suffered severe pain from these symptoms and it is help me greatly.GOOD LUCK

Wow if you think youtre skinny I am 20 and I weigh 101! :(  I have somewhat the same problem. What is cauisng it is acid reflux. It went away randomly then I started feeling this again and it wakes me up! I cant sleep more like I would wish too. THis not only will cause me bad under eye bags (especially since I am a college student), but it causes me sudden weight loss which I literally dont need! Im worried it can be something else too. Try to not have acidic drinks, choclate, and spicy foods. When youre hungry eat do not wait. If you have to wait a bit for whatever reason to eat then have a snack. If you over think and causes worry then that causes reflux too. The best is torelax and think everything will be ok.  Well goodluck :)

I'm 36 and have had this since college.  It has stopped mostly, two things, I started taking Vitamin B complex once or twice a day, vitamin B deficiency, also I have started to meditate and clear my mind every chance I can find.  I find that taking Vitamin B in addition to multi-vitamins has helped, however it took awhile for my body to get used to the nutrients I wasn't getting in food.  Also I throw up thinking about having to deal with my work day.  I have a horrible commute and my work is very stressful.  On the weekends I never throw up because I can get up past 9am, but 6am during the work week it is a shock to my system.  It's anxiety related, but really it is a natural reaction to the system we live in, face it you'd rather be in bed and rest and let your body wake up naturally, when you are forced awake by an alarm or whatever it is just like you are a cattle being prodded, or perhaps tortured awake.  It is not good for your constitution.  Also what has helped me is this oxygen and mineral supplement called "Cell Food" especially at night at the morning, just 8 drops in filtered water it calms you down and raises your oxygen levels.

It is a hellish experience, that is what worked for me however.  More vitamins, try to calm down and meditate at night in quiet, and just realize you are doing something which is not natural by getting forced to wake up when your body needs rest but can't.  We are so stressed, and many just need rest and need mother nature to wake them up, we are all worn out, and dealing with sometimes the hell of life, it is hard.

cannabis hyperemesis syndrome ? i checked on the UK National Health Service website and no proven such syndrome exists . quote from NHS website " Sorry, no results were found for ‘ cannabis hyperemesis syndrome’" or Cannabinoids "" not even hyperemesis syndrome exists on the NHS website , NHS wont post anything unproven

Cannabis can have stalling effects on many diseases , and when people come of cannabis the symptoms are exposed possibly for the first time at any age . BUT most large medical groups wont admit this as cannabis cannot be patented If you feel sick , itchy skin , feverish , nausia , vomiting , cant eat , hot sweats at night , only sleep for a few seconds before waking up again , feel genaerly terrible , there maybe a hidden problem you have which cannabis has been hiding or keeping the syptoms away . SEE YOUR DOCTOR ASAP ! Ive quit cannabis many times and felt great , even after 25 years of smoking the stuff - you wont ever get severe side effects purely from quitting cannabis apart from depression and clucking in the chest , maybe colourful dreams and some problem sleeping or getting to sleep for a few days , these dreams and mental effects will gradualy fade and you will soon return to normal sleep . you will not get physical withdrawals - You may have something seriously wrong with you if you get nasty physical symptoms after quitting cannabiis . I cant write the temporary remedy here as it will be removed , but you are welcome to mail me by replying if your symptoms get to the vomiting stage . this will be after a few days of quitting cannabis 5-10 days if youre a light user .

do what you feel is right but just a very tiny amount, until all tests 7 trials on humans have been completed.  gradualy quit tobacco, dont try sleep with light or TV on, plenty of pure water, and less dairy & fried meat products

Same thing here. It's ruining my life. And with 2 small children, it makes caring for them very difficult. I'm so blessed with an understanding and compassionate husband. I wish I had an answer for you. But just want you to know you are not alone.

Lyme disease can sometimes be accompanied by other illnesses and syndromes. I have had nausea every day for the past 6 years. I also have a very fast heart rate, fatigue, and all over not well feeling I had all the gastric tests, tons of blood work and ct scans. I was just diagnosed a year ago with postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome which can cause a number of different symptoms depending on the person. Maybe look it up and see if you think there's a chance of that bbeing what you have then talk to your doctor. Best of luck, nausea is such an over looked symptom but it's awful feeling that way daily

Hi, all.  I found this thread a few weeks ago while searching (desperately) for an answer to my daughter's illness.  For the last 6 months she has had intense and brutal nausea and vomiting every morning.  It starts around 6am and only begins to taper down by late morning or early afternoon and she really gets the majority of her nutrition in the evenings (only to start over first thing in the morning).

We've done all the testing and she's taken all the meds... all to no avail.

I'd seen mention of allergies on this thread, but dismissed them because #1, she doesn't have symptoms other than itchy face (though she also has eczema on her face and it bothers her often) and #2, I just couldn't imagine that allergies could ever have caused such violent symptoms.

Well, as doctors began talking about "could it be anxiety" or "maybe its cyclic vomiting syndrome", I felt ready to try anything.

So one day I thought about the comments on here and gave her a dose of her sister's zyrtec.

The next morning she was a little nauseous, but no vomiting.  So I gave it to her again that evening.

Two days later was the first time in 6 months that my daughter came downstairs and actually ASKED for breakfast in the morning!

She's been taking zyrtec every day since (about 10 days) and has had a complete turnabout of symptoms.  She's able to get up in the mornings and live a normal life again!

I just wanted to put this out there for anyone else.  I know this isn't the answer for all, but it is something worth looking into.

Best wishes!

Has anyone ever thought if parasites? Doctors never check for parasites even though it's the actual number one killer among humans in the world. No one ever yalks about parasites bit people have them and dont even know about it. Also, look into Candida. Maybe theres an overgrowth of yeast in your body. Doctors also think candida isnt a real problem but i believe most people have that as well and dont know it. It can be the cause for loads of issues and nausea is on the list.

Perhaps try taking gluten out if your diet, maybe even dairy. Some foods we just dont break down and it can cause us to feel sick. I have had these same issues in the past and i took out a few foods such as wheat/gluten products, dairy products, sugar and few other random foods like corn and peanuts and eggs. There was definitely a drastic difference after i adjusted. I have felt better ever since and never saw a doctor for it. I dont trust doctors. Theyll say anything to get ya to come back and spend more money. Its all about the Benjamins!
