i am having this problem since 5 years now i went all types of tests in 2008 i went for endoscopy and the reports showed h.pylori bacteria in my stomach. i was on medication for 3 months n it went away. just after i stopped medicine the whole thing came up again . some docs said i think too much. some said i have idb then put me thru colonoscopy which came negative. since 2009 i have gone to so many docs saying this that doing so many blood profiles, endoscopy second time which came normal. i went for ultrasound for my abdomen .. all reports were negative.. however i feel the same thing everymorning. first i used to sleep it thru during my college, but now i started working in a different place, after 2 months i quit my job as the problem became more worse.. now i went to my home town looking for a job hoping if i get better food i might overcome this issue.. but as u can guess i am still having the same problem. today morning i woke up with so much cramps then i passed stools normally .. after 5 mins i felt like sitting on the pot again.. a glue whitish substance came instead of stools.. cramps are still there n i feel heavy nausea. then i vomitted green gutter smelling water more than five times. i am in pain as i type this... one thing i want to tell u all try one medicine that really helps in overcoming nausea that actually made my nausea go away for a week .. "eme od 0.5 gms at 4 pm everyday" it might be sold under a different name in ur country.. if u find a solution please post..

My heart breaks for everyone on here going through this horrible illness. I watched my son deal with this everyday for many years. He has seen many doctors including GI specialists, had endoscopy and blood work all negative. They diagnosed him with acid reflux and said take over the counter prilosec. All c**p it did nothing. I finally took him to a new primary care doc who suggested Cyclic Vomiting Syndrome and treated him with nortriptyline. On day 2 of the medication no more vomiting. He is a new man. It has been 1 year and the only time he has a vomiting episode in the morning is if he missed 1 dose, that's all it takes is 1 missed dose. But with the meds he is able to go to work now and eat regularly, he has gained back weight and looks healthy. He may never bea able to stop the meds the alternative is worse. I know with watching him sick every morning I would have tried anything, and am so thankful he is better. I hope this helps someone out there.

check to see if you have bile reflux, instead of acid reflux. Sounds like that might be it. You should confirm this with a gastroenterologist.

Antidepressants. Certain antidepressants are good at helping to prevent some types of headaches, including migraines. Tricyclic antidepressants, such as amitriptyline, nortriptyline (Pamelor) and protriptyline (Vivactil) are often prescribed for migraine prevention. Tricyclic antidepressants may reduce migraine headaches by affecting the level of serotonin and other brain chemicals, though amitriptyline is the only one proved to be effective for migraine headaches. You don't have to have depression to benefit from these drugs. Other classes of antidepressants called selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs) and serotonin-norepinephrine reuptake inhibitors (SNRIs) haven't been proved as effective for migraine headache prevention. However, preliminary research suggests that one SNRI, venlafaxine (Effexor, Venlafaxine HCL), may be helpful in preventing migraines.

My son does not have any depression, This medication is used to treat migraines as well as does amitriptyline. If you are having vomiting episodes every morning and abdominal pain, I would say discuss this with your doctor. This worked for my child but may not be the diagnosis for everyone.

I realise how old this is but I've been afflicted with this mysterious illness too. It started about 8 months ago and has been getting progressively worse. Doctors have kinda shrugged me off telling me that I'm stressed or Gluten intolerant or a drug addict etc. It's been infuriating and incredibly frustrating.
I had taken some medicine that was prescribed to "neutralise the situation in my stomach" (Doctor's an ex military type). It was called Nexiam and was esmeprozole or something. It kinda helped but nothing ever stuck and I got to the stage where I was in intense pain and throwing up that revolting olive bile every morning without fail. I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy.
Recently I was diagnosed with heliobacter. Or something like that. They're basically some bacteria that can chill in your stomach for ages and not do anything, but over time make you experience symptoms like this. I'm hitting up some pretty heavy antibiotics with high hopes at present. Feeling pretty good.
Maybe it works. Maybe it doesn't. But check it out if you're desperate.

Have you tried medical marijuana?
I can't assume your stance on marijuana, but please consider the benefits. I have the same horrible problem, and have had no luck with any of the tests doctors ran on me. they put me on prioslac like you, but that did nothing. Marijuana has been scientifically proven to reduce nausea in the patient, and stimulate your appetite, Before you start to think I'm advertising this, let me just say it's only because it has practically STOPPED MY MORNING NAUSEA. Sure i still get it, But marijuana immediately rids myself of the nausea, and 15 - 20 minutes later i'm ready to eat! PLEASE look into it. Marijuana is 150% safe and highly beneficial to people like us, who can't get the help they need from medical tests and pills.

This is an Anxiety problem thats why the medications your idiotic doctors are giving you arent working and you resort to just throwing up every morning and just dealing with it . I have this same exact problem every morning i wake and i feel that nausea come on, For so long i though it was a physical problem but on the weekends when I didnt have school or work i wouldnt throw up, thats when i realized it was an anxiety problem. My doctor is so stubburn about prescribing benzos so he put me on seraqel WHAT A JOKE that stuff was i put on 20 lbs and throw up more. thats when i was so fed up i went and bought my own Xanax and tryed to see if it would help, I took it rite before i went to bed and woke up the next morning happier than a pig and sh*t and went to school nausea free! Marijuana also helps if yountake a hit as soon as u wake up . - Street Docta

Seriously try marijuana. I was greatly opposed to this idea at first, (due to the fact that it's an illicit drug). I used to feel the same way every single morning and it drove me crazy. Now, immediately after I wake up I take one hit of cannabis therefor I do not get stoned one bit and I can easily sleep again. Shortly after exhale your pain goes away and you fall asleep. Btw you'll also wake up wanting breakfast. If your opposed like I was at first try to have an open mind.
