I got my tongue pierced 2 weeks ago. When I got it done the first time, the piercer hit a vein so I ended up taking it out. Then I got it done again, and during the first week, I was so afraid of it getting infected so I cleaned it after everything I ate and drank literally. I know it was wrong so I stopped doing it, but now I have a huge bump right the the top ball sits and it doesn't hurt but sometimes it gets a little sore. I don't know if it's infected or not because it doesn't have any discoloration or taste to it. It's like every time I close my mouth the top ball like sits in it kinda. I don't know if it's infected or if I should just take the bar out.

I got my tongue pierced about a week ago and it doesn't hurt and there isn't any swelling, but it has a bump and it's hard around the peircing area. What is wrong? Should I get it checked?
