I just realized i have bumps on the way back of my tongue they look like enflamed taste buds. they don't hurt . I do notice i suffer from a great deal of sinus problems. my nose is always running year round, I do drink beer and smoke cig's but do both in moderation. and have only been smoking 6 years and im 35 years old. the bumps on my tongue are not whit or fuzzy or black just smooth red and small. any ideas email or post here. ty

Hi,

How large are these bumps and how long have you been having them? Do they hurt when you press them? It seems to me like this could be some sort of an infection that came down from your sinuses. You have to understand that this is not that rare and if sinus infection gets worse it can affect your throat as well. Have you been using any antibiotics to clear out the infection in your sinuses or for your bumps in the back of the throat? You could try to use some warm salty water and gargle it several times a day and see if they get any better.
