Hello,

I am 17 years old, and this past year, I developed acne on my face. The doctors classified this as "Severe Acne", but since then, it has cleared up a lot!

Now, about a year ago (more or less...), I noticed that I getting BUMPS on my penis towards the back of it (away from the tip) and just recently (couple of days) they have gotten much bigger and have started to irritate me. I feel pain everytime I scratch, or just as much as touch. I have never had sex before and am a virgin (I believe in waiting until marriage). The only thing is that I used to masturbate, but now I have tried to COMPLETELY stop that and this happened to me...

The bumps look like some acne sometimes when there is a white puss on the tip of the bump. I am sooo tempted to pop them, but I know that that will onlymake it worse..

What should I do? Is this condition common among teens? What should I do to get rid of the bumps?

Thank you sooo much!!!

This sounds pretty common.
It could be as simple as acne...
or infected hair follicles...
And, assuming that your hygene is good, and since you've had no sexual contact with others yet, it's very doubtful that it is a STD...

However, some people develop an allergy to pollens as they grown older, and this also reacts with nuts, citrus and other foods.

To be sure, you could show it to a doctor or medical person...
however, it doesn't sound very serious. I know the itching can drive you crazy, but you are quite correct... don't pop them or you'll introduce more opportunity for infection.

keep yourself clean and powdered, and use a triple antibiotic ointment or similar numbing gel if it's bothering you.

Good luck.
