I had to take antibiotics for 4 weeks because of Chlamydia that I was diagnosed. I guess that those antibiotics harmed my normal bacteria, so I developed cadida vaginal infection. I have read that probiotics are medications for yeast infections. What is the connection between antibiotics and probiotics? For how long would it be needed for cadida to be eradicated?

Antibiotics fight against microorganisms in our body, but are not absolutely selective, especially broad spectrum antibiotics, so they destroy normal bacteria in our intestine and other mucosal tissue. Probiotics help re-growth of normal useful bacteria in our body. They can be found as capsules or pastilles for chewing. But you can also take lomexin or mac mirror complex that are real antifungal drugs and fight candida that way.
