Hey everyone. I've been reading a lot of different post lately and the ones here have really been the most helpful so far. I'm at a loss of what to do. I'm on my 4th month of clomid and it's been 50 days since my last cycle. I had very light dark color spotting not even enough for a tampon on April 11th thought my period was coming but that was it. Got hopeful that it was implantation bleeding but all hpt so far are negative, not sure what to do. My doctor said to wait another 2 weeks and test again. Has anyone else had anything like this happen and eventually got a positive hpt? Any help is welcome my husband and I have been trying for 10 months. Good luck to all!

first month on clomid 100 mg. I am a old lady compared to you guys. I am 41 been trying for 5 years. I have had 3 miscarriages, my time is running out or has already run out. I just want to tell the younger couples anyone upper 20 and above. If you can try and be aggressive with all the test and treatments. Time will just go by so fast then the odds are next to impossibly, like at my age. I thought after 2 successful pregnancy that this would be a breeze. What happen to my body. I turned 30 and now I can't get a baby to stick. I thought I had so much time, I realize now time is ending.
I pray all of you will have the baby or babies you want.

I was diagnosed with PCOS when i was 14 years old.
I never had a normal/regular menstrual cycle until I started taking birth control
I am now 23 years old. My husband and I are trying to concieve and have been for the last 3 years.
I know Im still young but arent the chances of getting pregnant at a younger age higher?
Anyway...
So, I've been taking Clomid for about 2 months now. The 1st cycle didn't work so my doctor increased the dosage.
Today will be day 21 on clomid cycle. Lets back track...
I took provera for 5 days, no bleeding no cramps.
I took Clomid 100mg for 5 days and on days 17-20 I've been experiencing cramps , day 18 I noticed there were a couple dark brown reddish colored spots on my underwear.
My doctor told me not to see him til day 32 or 33 which is a week from now.
I just want to know if bleeding during those days are normal?
I've searched the web which mostely said implantation bleeding which freaked me out! o.O
Does anyone have any advice for me? or can answer my question?

Wow...no period in that long. I would definitely found out if the doctor can give you something to get your period to start...but before that maybe request an ultrasound to make sure there is nothing in there.
Sorry to hear about your experience...I'll prayer for a baby for you all.

Wow, this is the first time reading posts on this website. I found them to all be very informative! My husband and I have been trying to conceive now for 15 months. We have both gone through extensive fertility work ups and have come to find that he has a low sperm count. I naturally got pregnant last November after tryiing for only a couple months; but ended up miscarrying after only 5 weeks. It's been almost a year now, so I went in to ask for Clomid.
This is my first month taking it (50mg) on days 3 through 7. When I was taking the pills, I felt anxious and could not sleep. After that, I had no side affects...until now. I am currently on cycle day 31 and have not gotten my wonderful "friend" yet. I have extreme soreness in my breasts, am hungry all the time, and found myself crying last night when a song came on the radio in my vehicle. I took a pregnancy test 2 days ago, but it read negative. I am going to wait a couple more days to test to make sure. I sure do feel pregnant though!
I have been doing home ovulation tests every day. I did ovulate this month on cycle day 14. Since today is my cycle day 31, I would think if I was pregnant, that it would read positive??!! Does it seriously take this long for the hormone to show it's face on a test?? I just wanted to add that while taking Clomid, I have noticed pregnancy symptoms. During a cycle without Clomid, I never had PMS symptoms like this either. So, I'm really hoping that I am pregnant and it's not this drug trying to trick me! Good luck to all you ladies out there trying to conceive!

g'day guys have been on my second round of clomid and am in the tww about 8 dpo I was wondering if anyone has had what appears to be an implantation bleed while on clomid of if clomid can cause a light bleeding. Yesterday I had a few brown spots on my knickewrs and today it has been a very light pink tinge of watery discharge and fromw hat i have read it could be an implant bleed. Am hoping for the best but am worried that this could be another clmoid symptom btw all the girls on clomid taking it at night time reduces the side effects

This is my responce to the two women who ended up in the ER. I'm 25 years old and have been diagnosed with PCOS in my blood but not in my overies. My husband and I have been ttc for 16 months now and I was put on Clomid last month for 50 mg on days 5-9. On my first cycle on Clomid I did not ovulate and on day 22 of my cycle my husband and I were having intercourse when I felt the most terrible pain ever. I couldn't move out of bed which terrified my husband because my surgeon (gall bladder removal) had told my husband my pain tollerance was extreamly high. He took me to the ER that night and about an hour and a half later the pain left. They did multiple ultra sounds because they were afraid my overy had twisted but all I had was a small cyst caused by the Clomid. I had pretty bad cramps and got my period seven days later.
This month, I thought my cyst was gone because I felt no pain so my dr. put me on Clomid 100 mg for days 5-9. I ovulated (using an OPK) between days 18 and 19. I went in for a follow up ultra sound today and they found that my left overy had indeed releced a mature egg however, the cyst on my right overy hadn't gone away and is now an inch larger than my overy. It's too soon to tell if I am pregnant or not since the Clomid has lengthened my cycle. I have googled to see if you can have a healthy pregnancy with a cyst and the answer is 'yes' in most cases. (only in one case when the woman's cyst was the size of a mellon did they operate to remove both the cyst and the overy but her baby was fine) So, your pain could have been a small cyst. They might be little but they cause serious pain. Don't worry you can still have a healthy pregnancy. Hope this helped. ;-)

I am like the rest of you wanting a child and resorted to Clomid. I am 35 and always had my cycle between days 21-26. I was one that would even have 2 periods in a month at times because I was so regular. Before using Clomid I tried an online ovulation test to see when I was fertile and only got a warning box saying I was not ovulating to see my Dr. Started Clomid days 5-9 50mg. I went in for my 21 day bloodwork and got a call from DR. saying my progesterone was very low (2) and they want to increase my dose to 100mg. I am currently on day 30 and have not had AF as of yet but I have been cramping almost everyday for over a week. I did have a faint color of spotting one night and very little next morning but none since. I have taken 2 tests which both came back neg. (of course) but I have had breast soreness (which is gone) and bloating. I am just not feeling myself lately. I was excited thinking i could be prego until I googled (lol) prego symptoms on clomid. The Dr. says they dont test until after day 35 which is Mother's Day. (Ironic) I am curious to know if anyone thinks I could be pregnant even though my progesterone was so low? I suspect day 19 might have been the day I could have conceived so would my progesterone be at a high level by day 21?

Reading each and everyones stories here has been very interesting and helpful. Me, of course, like everyone is TTC for quite some time now. I would really like to read about a successful story, so if anyone has one to share please do. It would give so many of us a lot of hope. I just also have another story to share. I am 29yrs old and was just diagnosed with PCOS a couple of months ago and found out I was not ovulating because of that. My Dr. started me on clomid 50mg last month on days 5-9. I found out I did ovulate with that first round of clomid. I, like mostly everyone else is experiencing the pregnant like symptoms on clomid a week before my AF. I am due for my AF now, it has not visited me yet, so hopefully in a few weeks I will have good news to share and give others hope.

My situation is quite similar. I am 24 and have no children, and I started clomid on days 5-9, and had my period days 1-6. iIam now on day 29 and for the last 3 going on 4 days i've had nausea that wont go away!, tender nipples, abd cramping, and severe mood swings but not much of a change in my apetite except in creased nausea from the smell of meat. This is my first round of clomid and we've been ttc for 2 years now. My body feels so different and im hoping im preggers, but my Dr said its too early for a urine test , so I'll wait 3 or 4 more days to see if aunt rose comes to visit and if not.. Hopefully it worked! Altho clomid works different on everyone, my sister used one round and got pregnant. Since we're 24, and 25. maybe our age adds a positive to this?! I'm also a diabetic so im considered high risk, and my main concern with knowing if im pregnant or not asap isnt just pure excitement, but I work full time and do alot of lifting, but im trying to take it easy. anyone have any advice or comments?? in a couple days here, i think i might take a pg test. i hear theres some that can detect earlier or before your missed period.
