I must say, that I cannot relate to the fact that your husband has 98% abnormal sperm, but I too have PCOS and have never been pregnant. We have been trying for 10 years and still nothing. We cannot afford invitro so I have tried clomid and sperm implantation. I have had repeated surgery because of PCOS, endometriosis, my tubes were closed and other issues. I must say that my only saving grace is my faith in God and Him knowing the desires of my heart. My husband has suggested that we adopt and I know that we would be a blessing to a child in need, but the desire that I believe every woman has, to carry the child and feel it kick and hear the heart beat for the first time, those things, those desires will not go away. Please keep the faith and just know that there are other alternatives out there. Have you and your spouse thought about using a sperm donor?

I have used clomid for five months. The second month of the med made me so emotional. I cried for a week about stupid things. I came close to calling it quits then, but I thought that the chance of a baby was worth crying one week out of a month. The third month still involved lots of painful ovulation, and a pos preg test five days before my missed period! It was so exciting after ttc for so long. We were amazed that yes, we can have a baby. It was nice until I noticed spotting only days later... yes, i miscarried. since then, my period and the postg. level tests have dropped to an all time low. I thought about switching meds to one that doesn't make your cervical mucus as thick, but the way I have felt lately makes me think I should stop med right now. I'm not doing well with the side effects.

Hi Everyone,
I am 30 years old. We are ttc for past 18 months with no luck. Nine months ago I was diagnosed with PCOS and my husband has normal Semen.  I am on Clomid for the second month and did'nt have any side effects for the first month, ovulated on schedule. I went out of way to keep it normal. I went to gym, ate normally and got period exactly on 30th day. We were disappointed but kind of happy also to see that my body has not chnaged too much because of clomid. Second month I am having horrible gas and lot of dizziness. My breasts are too tender, I am craving for sex like a maniac...LOL...
I am hoping did anyone get pregnant on clomid? Like many people I do feel frustrated and irritated when people ask me how many kids I have. We did avoid for a long time some how I need to cry and get my emotions out.

It is my first time taking clomid. I took 50 mg for days 5-9. My dr. said that my progesterone levels are low still; however, I got a + OPK so I don't know what's going on. She told me to take a pregnancy test in about a week. Meanwhile...I have been having bad cramps, like menstural cramps, for a few days now. I also noticed that I have been having irritable days and broke down and cried one day. There have been some things going on at work and so I can't be sure that it not just life catching up with me. I also had been feeling like I was going to catch a cold so I have been very tired, but even when I have been sick I don't think that I ever felt that tired. I went to bed early and woke up later than usual several days in a row. I had to occasions where I felt slightly nauseated. I guess time will tell. I don't know if these symptoms are because of Chlomid or pregnancy.

I would get a little dizzy but I decided to take the pills at night which helped with that. I had a couple of headaches but nothing major. I would say its normal unless they are really painful and are making hard to do normal things, then call the doc. I would say the worst symptom were mood swings had to buy my hubby a present for that.

Hi,

Dear its being long time when i came across your post ,hope you stepped into motherhood if not don't loose heart , just follow this and im sure you will definitely cope with PCOS and conceive .

PCOS : *Drink a glass full of grapefruit juice with a spoon full of apple cider vinegar (mothers) before every meals.

* take a teaspoon of honey and add one pinch of Cinnamon powder and apply to your gums with finger as many times as you can whole day.

Ask your husband to drink 1 tablespoon honey if possible with milk before going to sleep .hope this will help you.

something that i learned from my ob is that clomid makes your cycle longer. I didn't ovulate unti day 18 whenever i took clomid. the first time i took it, i assumed to ttc around the same time as usual and it didn't work. the second time,..i used opk and ttc around day 17 and 18 and got a bfp!!

My Husband and I have been TTC naturally since the end of 2007 it is now 2012 we have 1 daughter who will be 6 on 9/11/12 we did not have a problem conceiving with her we were also pregnant when I was 14 and he just turned 18 miscarried at 2.5 months (THANK GOD for that one because 14 with a baby would have been to much) and we only have our daughter. We began Clomid in June of 2012 starting on the 3rd day of my cycle (my periods are usually regular coming the 8th of every month) Well in July my period came on the 11th and was barely there for the for 3 days only some light spotting but I started the clomid on the 3rd day and now it is August and its the 13th with NO period I took 2 tests in July both were negative (just because of how my period was) Now I have achy breasts which usually occurs 10 days before my period and goes away the day of) They have been hurting now for over 2.5 weeks and feel very full I am emotional I have cried over 3 burritos being made wrong and watching my almost 6 yr old go on her first BIG carnival ride the Gravitron. Is this all just from Clomid or could this be what we have been wishing and hoping for since 2007? Anyone else have anything like this? Our Daughter throws gems and pennies into our water fountain in our yard wishing for a baby sister. If she sees a shooting star she wishes for a baby sister... August would be my 3rd month on Clomid but like I said no period and 5 days late?
