No, regular low impact exercise may actually increase your chances of conceiving. Low impact exercises can include walking, yoga, jogging, aerobics, Pilates, and a 30 minute workout on the treadmill at the gym or a 30 meet workout at a place like "Curves" where you exercise all of your body.

Just do NOT over exercise that can cause problems with conceiving. You want to try and get 30 minutes a day of low to moderate exercise in, 3 - 4 days a week. Not only is it beneficial for you to exercise for your overall health (everyone needs exercise) but once you do conceive your doctor will probably encourage you to continue exercising which will be beneficial to you and your baby.

As long as you are healthy, you should be fine to exercise as much as you wish.  Just don't overdo it by becoming overheated or dehydrated.  Walking and swimming are the best exercises that you can do all the way through you pregnancy.  Exercise may keep you from developing gestational diabetes as well as preeclampsia.  All around, exercise is a good idea for any woman who is pregnant.  I would stay away from doing situps and other abdominal exercises once the baby starts to show.  You may ask your doctor what are safe exercises for you.
