I have had the mirena IUD for almost a year now, sex with my husband has definitely not been the way it used to. Anyhow lately when we have sex it hurts really bad for a couple of days and then it will go away,I literally have to wait to have sex with him for about 2 weeks at a time. My question is can having sex push the mirena further back than it should be or push it into my uterus wall? I've called my doctor but she wont see me till August.I'm really getting fustrated with all this i'm ready for it to be out.
