i know this question might sound ridiculous, yet i was just wondering. I have had a left varicocele surgery to correct my left varicocele last year(I was 15years old, and I am 16 now), now that the wound has healed quite well with pretty thick scar though.. However, eversince the surgery, I have noticed that my upper body has grew alot interms of height, yet my legs did not grow at all in terms of length. Now i have a really disporportioned body ratio. Could this simply just be my body build or could the surgery by any chance have stunted proper leg growth and development? perhaps by damaging nerves and arteries?
I know i may be thinking too much, but i would really like an answer from professionals. Thanks
and can anyone explain why or why not?

Hi Steve,

It's just your build.

The surgery would not/could not cause this.  If there was damage to the nerves, you'd have some after effects, numbness or loss of sensation at the least.  If it was damage to the arteries, then you would have had problems with circulation and likely some tissue damage, more numbness, etc.

In short, you'd have had some pretty serious problems occurring.

You legs may catch up.  Not everyone grows at the same rate.
