So I'm 13 going on 14 in about two months and I've been getting serious and various sports (track & field, badminton, basketball, etc). My legs and arms tire easily despite me playing a lot of sports and so I've been thinking of using wrist and ankle weights to train. I asked my father if I could get some but he said it would damage my bones, stunt my growth and I will be unable to play any sports at all if i use it before I turn 18. Is this true? And is there any negative effects that will happen to me if I somehow got to use them?

Well your still young to be adding weights to your legs . Because since your bearly 14 your bones rant as strong yet .
But it mostly depends on how long you play & how well you take care of your body .
But if you want you can try putting on the weights for a while (:
& still be able to be in good shape till your 18.

When talking about your wrists, I see no negative things that could occur. BUT when I was your age (I'm 17 now) I was going to buy ankle weights but they are best for walking, leg lifts, etc. don't use them while running bc they can damage your Achilles due to the extra weight on them. Other than that, it seems like a good idea
