I am sorry...I disagree....I have recently had 3 stents put in.... And I believe wholeheartedly that I can feel them.... It doesn't hurt....it just makes me aware that's all...
Why would they say " IMPOSSIBLE?"
When worded like that makes me think they are being dishonest

I had my first stent put in about 3 years ago, and then went back 4 days later and had a second one. The Lord sure has blessed me with a second chance in life due to the fact that I had a 99% blockage in the left anterior descending artery LAD "widowmaker" vein. I continue to feel sensation now and then from a quick sharp poke to minor discomfort. About a year later I had another stress test done and my doctor reported that I was good to go. I exercise 3-4 times week, aerobics ride my bike with no problem's. but on occasion's I can sure feel something.

They say its impossible to feel your stents. 4 months ago i had 3 stents "installed". I can feel them. No matter what anybody says I feel them. I went to the Doctor and showed him exactly where i felt the discomfort and low and behold the 3 places i had pointed out were exactly where they were placed. So explain that to me. I was not awake during the procedure nor was I informed of their locations. I feel them. A slight discomfort that is gradually fading.

I just had 3 stents recently. I believe I can feel them, not constantly but when I shift my body. Why would they say it's "impossible"? It seems like there would be the possibility of it.

I have two stents and two craniectomies all in 2007 and for three months and something is sticking me in the back of my head, and it's under my skin where the stent is, and I'm scared of the hospital because the nurses have changed and not in a good way it hurts, but I don't them to family to worry. So can the stent stick you under your skin?

I completely disagree. Having gone through the procedure, I will tell you I can feel my stent. I am a highly sensitive individual, a borderline empath. I do not feel it at all times. I feel it when I become physically or emotionally stressed. It is not painful in any way. I am merely aware of it. I feel like I feel my hardware I’m my bones.

Hello.
I think that It is not possible to feel stents once they have been inserted. The stent is designed to be very small and is usually made of metal or plastic.
Stents are usually inserted with the help of a catheter, and once they are in place, they should not cause any discomfort.
If you can feel it, that would seem to indicate a problem that needs to be checked. Or is it just some psychological effect?
