Bleeding from EC is like a period, and usually occurs after EC has been effective.
Her next period could start 28 days from when her bleeding started.

Hi Guest180417
You haven't given much information about your circumstances!
- If your cycle is always 28 days, then your next period would have been due 19 April
- With a cycle of 28 days, you would have expected to ovulate on 5 April.
- Presumably, you had some sexual activity involving fingering on or before 3 April
- If taken in time EC prevents ovulation, so the question about ovulation should not arise
- Spotting is usually much lighter than a period, and not usually 'heavy'
- It could well be that your post-PlanB bleeding has started
I hope this helps as a start. It would help if you could say exactly what happened (with dates) and also give your menstrual history (last 6 start-dates)
In responding, please use a name (not necessarily your own) to identify you. There are a number of threads from different people, and it can get confusing!

So since she bled like she did that means ovulation didn’t happen which means that even if sperm entered her vagina that she couldn’t have gotten pregnant because there wouldn’t have been an egg for the sperm to fertilize?

Where did I 'predict' her period to start 4/5 May? I thought I said 6/7 May based on a 27/28 day cycle.
If her bleeding started 9 April, then I would not really expect her next period to start until 6/7 May, but it could be earlier or later. Having taken EC her cycle cannot be 'predicted'. She might even miss a period.
It would seem the EC worked, and therefore she would not get pregnant from sexual activity in the 72 hours up to taking EC.
