I've been on-again, off-again feeling sick. I get a terrible headache that usually dissipates as fast as it comes on. I have redness in my eyes and bags under them. I usually feel fatigued and can't seem to get enough sleep, even if it's the weekend, and I can sleep in. In fact, my nights are broken up and restless. I don't ever feel rested after waking up in the morning. My ears feel clogged, as though I am underwater. If anyone has some advice, I'd really like to know what is happening to me. Thanks!

Hello.

Your symptoms – intermittent severe headaches, redness in the eyes, under-eye bags, persistent fatigue, restless sleep, and a sensation of clogged ears – could be due to a variety of causes. These symptoms might be related to issues like stress, allergies, sleep disorders, or even sinus problems. The combination of headaches that come and go quickly, feeling unrefreshed after sleep, and the sensation in your ears suggests there might be an issue related to sinus pressure or allergies, but other causes are also possible.

It's also important to consider lifestyle factors. Poor sleep quality can be influenced by stress, diet, screen time before bed, and your sleeping environment. Similarly, headaches can be triggered by stress, dehydration, or dietary factors. Eye redness and under-eye bags can also be exacerbated by fatigue or allergies.

In the meantime, focusing on good sleep hygiene, stress management, staying hydrated, and perhaps monitoring for any potential allergens or dietary triggers might provide some relief.
