Please tell me what drugs can interact with carisporodol? I have to take it for 2 weeks, but have to take allergy meds at the same time. Is it safe? What can happen to me if take these drugs at the same time? Please post. Thanks in advance.

Some antihistamines and anti allergy drugs may increase the dose of carisoprodol and that way increase its effect. You should talk to your doctor first, before take any other medication along with carisoprodol. Medications for cough, colds, sleeping pills, even vitamin supplements may interact with carisoprodol and change its plasma concentration and activity. It also should not be taken with alcohol; alcohol should be avoided as long as therapy with carisoprodol lasts.
