I just got diagnosed with strep yesterday. I was around my 14 month old niece for about 5 days and this whole time she has been on Amoxicillin. My question is can she still catch strep even though she has been on an antibiotic while I was in contact with her?

yes she can.
it depends if the antibiotic is effective against the strain of Strep that you have if it is then she will most likley not get it but if not then there the same amount of chances as if she wasnt on any antibiotics.
amoxicillin is normally given for earachs among other things but not sure if it would be effective aginst your strain of strep.
