What diseases are associated to celebral atrophy? Does it have to be serious condition or it depends of affected area? What are the first symptoms that can warn one on celebral atrophy? Which life habits can cause such condition? Please give me few words about this. Thanks.

Atrophy of tissue means a loss of cells from that tissue. So it depends on what amount of tissue is affected and especially from which region when it is about brain. There are number of diseases that cause cerebral atrophy and also conditions like injuries, stroke and trauma. Diseases that are related to cerebral atrophy are Alzheimer’s disease, Huntington’s disease, Parkinsonism, Senile dementia, multiple sclerosis, AIDS epilepsy and this is not the end of the list. Symptoms that are common for all of them are seizures, dementia, aphasia, although not always occur all of them.
