My mother has been diagnosed with Alport syndrome and suffers from rapidly increasing symptoms. Apart from the other problems that are related to the disease - including hearing loss - she has recently been complaining of changes of the color of her urine a lot, and has even mentioned blood in the urine on a couple of occasions. That sounds rather worrying. What do we need to do about this?

Alport syndrome (aka Hereditary Nephritis) is a genetic disorder characterized by glomerulonephritis, endstage kidney disease, and hearing loss. Alport syndrome can also affect the eyes. The presence of blood in the urine (hematuria) is almost always found in this condition. u plz dont worry just consult a doctot. gene therapy is a best treatment.
