Hi, I wanted to ask how safe is immunization of children? Because, whenever my child gets a compulsory vaccine he gets such a strong reaction: fever, vomiting, high temperature... How can it be prevented?

The reaction to vaccine is very different and every person reacts specifically, so it can not be foreseen and prevented. This unpleasant temporary reaction lasts for a few days or a week. The general population believes that vaccines are one of the greatest inventions of modern medicine, saving literally millions of lives from diseases like poliomyelitis and smallpox. In children, whose immune system is still undeveloped, many vaccines, like against meningitis and hepatitis, are given to prevent these hazardous illnesses. Still, some medical professionals oppose this view, considering that the major communicable diseases were decreasing before the vaccine programs started. In their opinion, sanitation, hygiene improvements and nutritional education take all the credit for reduction of communicable diseases in population.
