I have the exact same symptoms - plus I also get migraines on one side of my face with accompanying numbness. Then I was referred for an MRI on my back/ neck/ head & was diagnosed with cervical spinal canal stenosis. I see you’ve had an MRI on your head & neck but you should get an MRI on your cervical spine

I've been through three ENTs with MRI and CTs. Completed voice therapy, physical therapy, and reflux/anxiety medications. Now I am on a waitlist for a surgical procedure to trim some part of the anatomy mentioned in the UCLA article. It is considered experimental. I live in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada. I had to advocate for myself for close to three years. This started after two intubations in one year. I will post back to this forum after surgery with results. Hang in there.

The article I mentioned is titled "Clicking in the throat: cinematic fiction or surgical fact?" I brought it to my third ENT and after the MRI he agreed to perform the surgery (he usually removes cancerous growths from the larynx but has never done this particular procedure). The article gave me hope and ammunition to argue for the surgery. It is on pubmed and found as a PDF if you search the title through google. PS An MRI can be completed without gadolinium based contrast "dye". Gadolinium is a heavy metal used for MRIs and recent research indicates it may poison you for life. Most MRIs don't even need it but it is ordered anyway. I refused and still got my MRI with a clear image. Don't take the chance that it damages your health. Many radiologists don't know there is mounting evidence that it is very harmful even in those with proper renal function.

Yooo I went through all this and in the end….sarcoidosis. But I just tried and lived healthier for 2 years. It got worse after quitting smoking and it’s actually more prevalent in nonsmokers rather than smokers

Has anyone found a doctor in Europe who has agreed to and successfully operated this condition? I am new to this and I already faced the ignorance of random doctors about it. They were even annoyed I was giving the fuss. It’s clear the only solution is open resection and this is so scary

Have you had any luck or diagnosis yet. I did the same thing, Valsalva, same symptoms you have, plus tinnitus, a taste of blood or metal in my throat for a week after I did it.

Constant ear clicking, throat clicks making a pulsating sounds, upper jaw tremor sometimes, neck is stiff and can hear grinding/clicking when I rotate head, tension, headaches, ear fullness, ear pain , left lower lip and under tounge numbness on and off, pressure behind eyes. Trouble swallowing randomly.

Hopefully someone can help it is very tough to live like this, life is turned upside down. I’m 33 with 2 young kids.
