clicking throat

Hi I am levi 26, I am experiencing the same too.. I hear throat click when I swallow saliva, but not to food and drinks.. I am so wondering if any of you found out what tk do with this clicking.. I noticed everyone posted this a year ago.. I hope any of you found the thing to do and post it here..

Hi, I'm Yvette. I have the clicking in my throat when I hold my head down and swallow. This started almost three weeks ago. It happens when I just swallow and when I swallow liquids. I told my Dr about it she ordered an ultra sound to be done on my throat/neck. I had that done on this passed Monday. My results from that was that I have several nodule cysts on my thyroids. But not large enough to do a biopsy. Now she's referring me to a neck specialist and gastrologist. She also thinks that it could have something to do with acid reflux.Bottom line she's not sure what's causing it. I'm praying that it's nothing serious and that it can be fixed without having to have surgery. Pray that all of you get better soon.

You all check your vitimin D deficiency also check for rhythm arthritis. I had the same problem after Vitimin D got lo.

Had this before drove me nuts until I went to a chiropractor top vertebrae in your neck can cause symptoms like this if out of alignment like mine was and easily fixed for me anyway hope it helps

I have a click sensation in my throat , and a week before I had a inclusive blisters on my throat, not mono ,strep, or toncilits, so they put me on steroids and antibiotics for 2 weeks and it hasn't helped I just recently started having a pooping sensation in my throat. Any ideas why?

clicking in the throat ; not from swallowing or jaw pain ;I think it comes from stress; or the calcification on the throat connected to the larynx ; or calcium build up & or the cartilage could be from rubbing ; rsvp

Can anyone please tell me if there partner is clicking in there sleep all night. I have been putting up with this problem of his now for about a year. The constant clicking is driving me mad. It's actually worst than hearing him snore. I.m so fed up with this but he won't go to the doctors to check it out because he's thinks he is not doing it because it's in his sleep. This is getting so serious now that I don't want to be sleeping in the same room any more with my husband. So can anyone give me any advice on what would help.

How old are you? Are you in the UK? I assume that the school you attend is high school and you are in your early teens. In which case you can ask to see your GP yourself. I'm not sure of all the details, but I know that there was a campaign starting in 1983 by Victoria Gillick to make it unlawful to prescribe contraception to under 16 without parental knowledge/consent. She lost, and the House of Lords stated that under some circumstances, minors could consent to treatment without their parents stopping them. Of course this is UK law, so it's very woolly. But it's worth calling your GP to ask them to clarify the situation.

If you are unable to get to the surgery because it's too far to walk and there's no bus for example, you'll have to talk to your parents again. I can understand they are probably annoyed at having to go to the doctors repeatedly for nothing, but to be fair, they're not doctors. You could have something wrong with you which isn't addressed if they continue with their stance. It is highly unlikely that there's anything seriously wrong with you. But doctors will be happy to check it for you even if all that happens is that your anxiety decreases. Try your parents again because there is support available for those who worry too much. You are not the only one by any means and there's no shame in it. Your GP can either treat what's wrong with your throat or point where to go to get help for your worrying. Good luck :)

Hi, Im 17. Just got this today but thought it was odd and came across this site. Many of my symptoms are similar to many other people here's. I feel like I may have something lodged in my throat, maybe phlegm. I only get the clicking sound in my throat when i swallow however if I tilt my head up or to the left and swallow I don't get the clicking sound. I saw something in this topic about vitamin D deficiency and thought this may be the cause for me as it is winter and I haven't been able to go outside much and have been experiencing other vitamin D deficiency problems as well so I am going to take a vitamin D pill every morning and see what happens, If it works I'll post in here, likewise if it doesn't I'll look for more help, really hope it works...my body is a temple.

I have a weird click on my throat but for me it was because someone was squeezing really tightly on my throat with their forearm. Afterwards it kind of started clicking and hasn't gone away.....could you have possibly damaged it in a physical way
