Same problem, doctor put me on antibiotics they did nothing. Had pain in the back of my head on the right side, dizzy, and unable to work. Wondering what can I do... I've seen 3 doctors and no one knows.

did you find out is it a bacterial infection? or just swelling? what was the verdict? I've got the same symptoms been going on for a month. I am wondering if this is something antibiotics can kill? thank you... feeling desperate and in a lot of pain.

I did for me eventually, after a period of about 10-months. I still do have some episodes, and triggers. Venlfaxine, magnesium/b2 broke it for me.

I just want to say this thread has helped me a lot! I had exactly the same symptoms and was seriously worried for my future.
I’m 28 years old and had cocaine over the course of a year. Sometime having 2 or more grams in a session and thinking nothing of it. Recently I had a session over a weekend of 3gm and this is when I noticed a different effect on my mind, body and health following.

I woke up with stabbing pains in my head, worse than a migraine and couldn’t shake it. The pain was acute and in specific areas. These included my temples left back side and centre backside of my head and worsening in on my right side of my head. I had pulsating pressure and pain and it would come in waves. My sinus cavity and forhead suffered the most.

I went to my doctor and asked for an assessment and briefly touched on the reason why I may encountering these pains. He said it’s most likely due to a sinus infections and to be on antibiotics (amoxysillan) to over come this flu like symptom.
This worked great, i followed a lot of the tips from the below responses including i take of vitmin b2, magnesium and folic acid. I took about 4-6 tablet over the course of the day to try and relieve the symptoms. It assisted greatly. One thing that did happen after about the 3rd day I had only 2 glasses of whisky and back came the exact symptoms and shooting pain I experienced before-this really shook me up.

I really felt like I had an annurism or was permanently going to have this problem for the rest of my life and experience pretty much what a lot have said of their experience in this thread.

For me I was very lucky and will not touch the stuff again. It was a big wake up call that we are not invinceable and can really be effected by this harmful drug. It’s now been 2 weeks and feeling great, though if I do t have enough sleep

Pretty crazy reading all these posts. I had the EXACT same symptoms, did some blow one night, the next day BOOM instant head pain like I've never felt before. Right side, just behind the ear, throbbing constantly for 1 month and half! Definitely linked to blow, I did a CAT scan, blood test. MRI, everything came out find but the doctor said my blood vessels were spasming and I was asked "I'm going to ask you a personal question, are you doing cocaine?" I was like "uhhhh...yes" and she said "stop". So yeah there's something linked in the substance. Not worth it.
