My problem with my Alcohol Allergy is that I only have to be in the same room as anyone drinking alcohol and I go red in the face, heady, sleepy, and feel as though I have a full blown hangover!! and I've not drunk a drop. If I eat food with alcohol in it I have chronic abdo pain and feel as though I am going to pass out!
I need help to sort out what has caused these symptoms as I have been suffering for about 18 months.
Also I cannot tolerate perfumes and cleaning products.

can alcohol show up when you have a blood test for allergies
I think that some people are not aware of the ability to be allergic to alcohol so I am glad that you posted on it because I don't think that many even realize that it's possible. I'm not sure if this was mentioned but how common is this?
