confused by pregnancy test results!!!

i think i could be pregnant as i was having the symptoms. i missed my period for 4 days till i decided to buy a test. that morning before i buy the test my period came. i took the test same way. i was unsure of the results because the faint line didnt pass through the minus line to form a + but formed a kinda cloud to the right of the minus. i went to the doctor the following day and brought it with me. he also said the test looked funny. but its a positive. he had me do another one. it came negetive. im confused by all of this. any1 with this kinda experience??
