During a pre-op for foot surgery,my EKG showed a left blocked bundle branch which prompted my GP to send me to a cardiologist, since I am a 58 year old female. The cardiologist did a treadmil test hooked up to a monitor,as well as a sonagram of my heart which led him to diagnose congestive cardiomyopthy. I looked up many things on the internet but most of it just scared me. Does anyone know anything about this condition and is it treatable?
