After many horrible years of enduring the hell of having tonsil stones, an ENT suggests a tonsillectomy. At that point I had not found any non surgical alternatives or if there was a bigger reason behind them, so I had the surgery. Right afte, when I was able to eat again, I started to have consistent nausea. No vomit but still, every single day. Sometimes gets worse to the point of throwing up but never do. No problems with the tonsil stones since but about a few months ago, (three years since surgery), I have this constant sore throat and it gets worse with eating/swallowing (even with soft foods/drinks). My question(s) is/are whether or not anyone else has experienced this, will it improve, and does anyone know if there's a bigger health reason behind tonsil stones, where the stones are the body's reaction to something worse. Thank you.
