Well I was taken to the doctor to see about these stomach pains I was having that were causing constipation, I've been having the same problem for six years now, it has only gotten worst, because the medicines my mom were believing I had to take. None of them worked for anything. I hated that time. But the doctors I had gone to told me it was dehydration, I have been drinking a ton of water and other things now, that are good for me so that I do not become hydrated. But my stomach bloats out still, the pain is still there in small amounts and my body will randomly let me go to the bathroom, other times it won't allow me to. The pains from it most time makes me sleepy, gives me bad headaches, terrible cramping in my stomach, and a ton of times here were bad jolts of pain too. But I don't see how it can be caused by dehydration since I've had the problem for so long and I still walk the earth haha. But also after eating I get discomfort so I also have a digestion problem, (I have a weak immune system from years of secondhand smoke since I was in the womb so I don't have much defense and get sick a lot) I also run a lot and do sit ups/push-ups because it's our schools gym class thing. But I don't know a single thing that could be causing any of this. The doctors also said that the x-rays came back and showed nothing out of the ordinary but if you ask me the doctors weren't too smart since they were an emergency room type thing.

Hi Refuser

Your symptoms sure sound frustrating.

Pain, constipation, bloating, cramping....... your bowels are definitely out of balance; and yes, there are treatments for just this blend of symptoms.

A functional medicine practitioner can do a 'Comprehensive Stool Digestive Analysis' pathology test for you that will reveal what's going wrong in your digestion to cause these symptoms. Sometimes these practitioners are also medical doctors, sometimes they are naturopaths. Once you know exactly what's causing the problem, it can be addressed.

Just do an internet search for 'functional medicine practitioner' in your city.

If you don't want to go down the functional medicine way, an accredited clinical naturopath can help you solve the problem.

Hope this helps - let us know how you go.

Regards, Olwen :-)
