I'm 13 and I feel that I may have some OCD. For instance when I'm in school I only use #2 wooden pencils and they all have to be sharpened to the same height and when I lay them down I line them up by the erasers so they are perfectly even. I won't start working until they are perfect. Also if I am going to use a school computer I like to have the keyboard wiped down before I use it. Another example is when I type I can't allow auto-correct to change my mistakes, it drives me crazy. However most things like dirt, germs, and disorder (clothes on the ground etc.) don't bother me. Disorder only bothers me if I messed something up. I also tend to straighten pictures and signs (T.V.'s and other things too). Anything will help, Thanks.

Hi , what you described might actually be symptoms of an OCD. However, i find it to be very unlikely. I mean, we all, and when i say all i mean all, have those tiny outbursts of OCD. Not a lot of people will tell you about their weird habits but rest assured that everyone at some point in their life questioned his own habits and weird behavior. In the end, what is normal? As it turns out, it is normal to have those ways that are different from normal. It expresses your individuality and boosts your creativity. Of course, it is o.k. for you to do stuff like that until it really starts bothering you, in a way that you are unable to do the most simple and important daily tasks. If its not bothering you , except the fact that you believe that you have OCD, then dont be worried you are perfectly normal.
