I have just suffered the same thing, cut appeared from nowhere. I have just been to pharmicist and she suggested multi-gyn actigel. I am also using Canesfresh feminine wash soothing wash gel and it feels so much better. I only hope it doen't take too long to heal.

I suspect what you have may be herpes. I had the same experience two years ago and my GP did a blood test to determine which type of herpes I had and for effective treatment. I am so happy to tell that after she prescribed a treatment of just 5pills I never experienced that again till today. I am so sorry though that I forgot the name of the pills she prescribed. I advise that you contact your GP or Gynaecologist. Hope this helps

I have been experiencing skin tears in my labia for about two years. I recently saw my GP about it and got a referral to a gynaecologist, who diagnosed lichen sclerosus. I've started using a steroid ointment called advantan fatty ointment, and the stinging has eased after one day. My gynae took a biopsy to make sure that it is lichen sclerosus, but I'm encouraged that the steroid cream has started working already. If you have these tears, get to your doctor or see a specialist. The condition can cause long-term problems if you don't get it sorted. Good luck!

I was having this for so long. Tiny litle paper cut like slits on my perineum (the little spot of skin between your vagina and anus). My doctor told me to go to a dermotologist who told me to go to a gyno, etc etc... Finally the director of the gyno practice did a biopsy (OUCH!) and it came back as Lichen Simplec Chronicus which is a slight skin irritation. To my relief it is NOT herpes, so please have your doctor look thoroughly into it. The biopsy was very unpleasant but I was so relieved to have a diagnosis that I didn't mind. She gave me Hydrocortisone Ointment USP (.05%) which is a small steroid cream.
The wierd thing is.. since having the biopsy, I haven't had the cuts come back, and that was even before getting the cream. Go figure!
