wow, by total coincidence, I stumbled across this topic again, sure, I took l-arginine with zinc and lecithin as my cystoscopy bascially turned my ejaculation to mere water and I felt blocked, it helped a lot, hope it works for you

Guys hope not embarasssing you but I'm a female and had the exact problem.  Great sex life then developed urethral pain and had a cystoscopy done and a urethral cyst removed. Even though I had pain before the procedure my sex life was still fine. Since the procedure my orgasms have been really weak and barely noticeable. Tried talking to the gyno and she said it was all in my head although I still feel 'in the mood' in exactly the same way as before, it's just the orgasm that is dissapointing. Did any of you guys get normal sensation back eventually? It's five months since I had the cysto done and am worried I'll never back to normal again.

I had a cystoscopy done and now ejaculation feels blocked and less semen comes out than before. When I feel like I'm going to orgasm ejaculation feels like it gets stuck and pressure builds up until it comes out 2-4 seconds later. Before it would just come out right away and not feel blocked . I don't even feel good it's like I didn't even orgasm. I'm a 19 year old male who had prostatis. cystoscopy is not that safe, I regret getting it done everyday. I wasn't even asked to sign a paper before getting it Done, and they told me It was safe. I no longer want to masturbate or have sex, cystoscopy ruined my life. it is not a safe procedure at all.

You might need to go back to your urologist to check it out. Also individuals with smoking history can have a deleterious effect on one's bladder.

I had a cystoscopy 3 days ago and ever since then I have extreme stinging/burning every time I urinate. I am worried that somehow there was damage done either by the scope or by when the the lidocain was (inserted?) That really hurt for a second and it was done twice. The whole procedure lasted just a couple of minutes and was very painful. I've had two of them done in the past without the problem I'm having now. Any ideas?

I'm just saying it was the worst pain I've ever felt! Hurt so bad and then the bleeding after freaked me out. It would just leak out of my penis and, believe it or not, I used my wife's pads in my underwear to catch the leaking. But the next day that all stopped. It was still a bit sensitive to pee but not bad. A week later, all was back to normal and reports came back as everything was healthy. But ouch, that hurt!

I had a Cystoscopy done one the 12th of Nov and today is the 7th of Dec and I still can't urinate or have a bowl movement. It's almost like its numb in that area. The surgeon keeps saying it will get better and I have to straight cath my self every day four times. I am pretty sure he did something when he did the scope. I would never recommend that test to anyone.. Then a week after the cysto he broke up my kidney stones and I couldn't walk for three days and the pain I continue to be in they said I shouldn't be having so they won't even help get it under control. I think it'stime for a lawyer on my end..

Cystoscopy can be done for many reasons. A big one that is misdiagnosed is Interstitial Cystitis. Unfortunately for results and for insurance to pay for the medication a biopsy is usually required. A good Dr will provide the proper info for after procedure, such as no intercourse or orgasm for up to 2 wks after the procedure, you may have urinary burning for up to 5wks but most subside within a few days, keep hydrated to flush your system and a few more I can't think of right now. Having this procedure finally gave me answers to know I really had a problem, and that my IC could also be the reason for many health issues including IBS, migraine and chronic fatigue syndrome to name a few. To know I can get control of my life back is worth it
