Is it true that statin drug could cause dermatomyositis? I am just looking for that fact if someone can answer me. It would be great to know truth. Thanks for any respond about this.
Hello. I’m not an expert in the medical field either. I was diagnosed with Dermatomyositis July,2020 and started taking a statin last July. My skin symptoms started last summer after starting on a statin drug but didn’t think anything of it then.
