I was diagnosed with hsv 2 about a month ago. My first(?) outbreak was just five small sores around my clit or is, the doctor put me on acyclovir for five days, taking five tablets a day. They seemed to clear up and I started to feel normal again. However, within a week the intense itching and subsequent sore broke out, and this time they are much more vicious, bigger and painful. This has been on going for nearly three weeks now. I'm now of day four of five of my acyclovir but I feel worst than ever! My sores aren't actually that painful anymore, however where the sores are/were there are huge painful swellings. There is one to the right of my anus that is the size of a peanut M & M. Its quite hard, hot to touch and constantly aching and incredibly painful. I've woken up this morning feeling very flu like too. Is this classic HSV 2? Or is it something more sinister? Any help or relaI am not sure if you are around let me know if you need to come to the bright side of the world eh the the the the the ted stories would be so greatly appreciated!
