I heard my son talking on the phone that dilaudid bangs really hard!!! What does it mean?

Dilaudid is hydromorphone, which is basically a synthetic opoid. It is quite common with heroin. To bang is street slang for to intravenously inject. Basically your son is on the way to being a f*****g junky. He is injecting extremely hard drugs. Sorry to break the news mate, but you need to take some extreme steps before he really f**ks himself up. This sh*t is very very addictive. Trust me, I know.

I realize my posts have to be verified, so to any mod out there I insist that you authorize my last reply to this PRONTO. The advice given by alanna to this gentleman is complete BS and nothing to do with the problem at hand.

i take it prescribed been for about a year before then it was oxycontin. you need to talk to your son. the bang means its an intense high. you cant just quite it either. if you have been on it for a while and then stop your body could react badly, could go into a coma. it is a pretty hot item right now on the streets. have a talk with your son. oh by the way i was on it becauase im still fighting cancer and 6 month out from my stem cell transplant. its very hard but in remission. so ill say a prayer for you and your son. i wish you the best.

yeah you need to talk to him or someone that can help, although i'm not quite sure if there is any help for him at this point, most of the people that i know, and im not trying to say all people never quit, but i know some that have "quit", eventually fall back into the bad crowd. but u need to quickly try and get him help...u don't want your son shooting up till he's gone..
