What is a good diet I can be on for gallbladder removal and high cholesterol?

Loading...

You are lucky, in that the same things that contribute to high cholesterol are also bad on a gallbladder removal diet. Basically, stay away from foods you know are bad for you: fried foods, fatty foods, sugary foods, red meat, refined flour, etc. Make fiber rich vegetables and fruits a high priority in your diet. Include them in every meal you eat. It's better to eat chicken, fish, etc, rather than red meat and you can also eat whole grains, cottage cheese, yogurt... In other words, focus on eating real foods rather than junk foods, and that should help you.
