I get this when I’m very tired as well. It’s quit scary. It’s not panic attacks!

your condition sounds like Central Sleep Apnea (different from Obstructed Sleep Apnea). i have this condition and fixed it by using a CPAP machine, using the ERP (Exhale Relief Pressure) setting. it's as if the machine is breathing for you. I use a base pressure of 6 cm H20 and an ERP of 2. best of luck.

The problem may be caused one or combined of the things i wrote down:
-a health problem(must be tested, diagnosed and eliminated if not)
-a chronic stress
-overusing electronical devices
-inactive lifestyle
-being a overthinker
-hormonal unbalances
-seasonal changes
-consuming processed foods often(including caffeine)
-less water intake
-psychological trauma
-mold exposure
-smoking
As far as i researched cz time to time i experience those synptoms.

hey, i found this in a frantic search to explain what i’m feeling. i’ve been taking adderall off prescription about twice a week in doses of 40mg. the breathing change came on slowly and not really painfully, as you said. it just slightly worried me because a majority of my health anxiety surrounds my lungs and breathing. it has gotten more ache-y and painful and hard to breathe over the last two days. it feels like i get my lungs halfway inflated and then something just stops me from breathing anymore but i know i need to. and i crave a full breath the same way i crave water when i’m dehydrated. i’ve stopped taking the adderall and i went to a doctor. they said to give it a couple days and i’d be fine. is this going to get better? is this permanent?
