Hi there, of course that this thing may happen. You may ask any doctor. Dizziness and nausea can happen for a day or 2 after surgery because of general anesthesia. That is normal and may happen pretty often. I hope that you are content with my answer. Have a great day.

Hallo,
What kind of surgery have you had? I see that you posted this in Stomach problems forum so I presume that you had surgery regarded to some stomach issue. Well most like people experience dizziness after the surgery because of the anesthesia. You will need a day or two to get it out of your system so you can be yourself again. Has doctor told you anything about this? Usually they tell their patients about this so they don’t get frightened. What other medication are you taking? This can also be a side effect from some other medication that you might be taking for the process of recovery.

I hope that this helped in any way and that you will get better.

Sedative or anesthesia can cause a person nausea, fatigue or dizzy up to 24 hours after your surgery. There is not much to be done as this is the period needed for the sedative to wear off.
