Well, from a man who loves to 'go south' I would have to say I prefer clean shaven. I also shave my 'bits and pieces', although it does tent to look like a plucked turkey (gobble, gobble).
You can see everything clearly, It's easier to clean and it just looks better. The only problem is, you can get stubble rash when you go down if the lady hasn't shaved for a couple of days. ouch.
