there seems to be a major discussion in the office, and I was asked to get a more "world" view here.
The question is based on a more "human" view of what lonley is and there seems to be different views on this.

On the one hand some here view that God does not get lonley cause he has angles and others in heaven to keep company with.

While others contend that God is really three people in one and while God never gets lonely, the bigger question is who rides shotgun if God decides to take a ride in the family car ?

But this is a valid question and I'm asking it here.

Yes, I think he does. The most important thing about being a Christian is relationships. How we relate with one another and how we relate with our creator. And yes, I think he sees us wonderful beings he created in his own image doing everything under the sun but relating to Him.

Thanks jrjo and others for their comments.
I think you hit some of the point we were struggling with here and I wonder if its our desire to assign human qualities to all things.

The G3 take: God does not get lonely. If God got lonely, he'd make himself some finger puppets.

Interesting question. I don't think God gets lonely, after all he has a host of angels with him. He may get bored. Right now, he may be very amused reading the Riff Raff boards....

We generally refer to the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost as the holy trinity which us teenagers of the 50s referred to as Big Daddy, Daddio and Spook, so how could He be lonely? If He should get lonely He just has to watch us idiots for amusement.
