A few of my colleagues underwent hypnotherapy and while some state that it worked wonders for them, others claim quite the opposite. I would gladly submit my husband to hypnosis and alter his behaviour, he he. Just joking but I truly want to whether hypnosis works or not. Anyone care to explain?

I think it depends on the personality. Those people who are trusting and act more with their heart rather than their mind are more prone to being hypnotized. They can be influenced easily. On the other hand, there are those who are rational. They are less likely to be responsive to hypnotherapy as they will not suspend their critical judgment. Now, if you know the characters of your colleagues, you may test my theory.
