I’m 14 years old girl and have a question for more experienced in nutritionism. I like to be in very good shape, so pay attention very much on what I eat. My diet contains of fruit, cereals, vegetables and milk. I even avoid fatty cheeses and creams. But I still have problem with acne. Does milk cause acne? I wonder if that can be cause of my problem. Doesn’t sound so logical, but what else to think?

Well, I agree that it may be true. Not long ago I found an article that said that iodine that is contained in milk can cause acne. Cows are fed by iodine fortified feed because it prevents infection. Try to decrease milk intake and check the result. And I think that it does not have to be connected only to iodine, but to hormones that are also given to animals. Personally, I avoid all the products that may contain hormones.
