Hi honey! This is anxiety!!! We ALL have suffered with this, you need to tell your parents to make it an emergency meeting! Most parents honey, don't want to hear that their children are in pain or are depressed! They feel that they have failed them! BUT if you tell them all that you feel, I am sure they will let your doctor know quicker! ALSO if you feel like you are thinking of suicide you need to call a suicide prevention number in your area and get IMMEDIATE help! I will never say to you, "just think it's all in your head" Because that demeans it! It IS in your head, but your head is the most powerful organ in your body, and if you don't help it, it will make your life a living hell! Which it sounds like you are in right now! So demand some help OK? Tell your parents exactly how you are feeling and you NEED help NOW! Not next week!

I did too honey and it can GRIP you like someone strangling you! This is all I'm talking about is that overwhelming sense of doom! It is a "normal" part of anxiety! So ask for some help OK?

I am really glad to hear that you're not suicidal. 'snapping out of it' is not as easy as your parents think! When you have anxiety, it can be very difficult to handle. Someone wouldn't tell you to just 'get over' a broken leg, right? That's what anxiety is like! You really do need to see someone or talk to someone. Could you talk to a school guidance counselor maybe?

Go seek out some adult who WILL help you if your parents won't. Some people misunderstand the serious nature of problems like this...

i still have anxiety but i've been trying not to dwell on it much.. it seems to be getting better very very slowly
i check my pulse a lot, i dont know why
i also overreact to small pains (that might not even be there, maybe my minds just making it up) and think i'm going to die from it, like neck pains and stuff
i reassure myself i'll be okay a lot
hopefully ill be all better soon :-)

Like HFG and I have said honey, IF you feel like you need some help, ask!!! Because the symptoms you are having are part and parcel of depression and anxiety! And when it has a hold on you, sometimes it just can't be overcome with a "positive attitude" so be careful and try not to read too much about it on the internet OK? You can get people that are WAY over the top about their symptoms - almost to the point of being unbelievable! And this can aggravate your own issues! I'm sure you know what I'm getting at don't you HFG?! We even have some people on here, that don't listen and keep on going about the strangest things! Which become unreal at a point! Almost like a severe hypochondriac, with an agenda! It's hard to describe, but we - as counsellors - have to be careful of people like that, and that is what I am telling you too honey! Just be careful of what you take as real/truth, because it JUST might not be! Does that make sense? Get as much sunlight and increase your Vitamin D intake - it has been shown that so many people are avoiding the sun - because of cancer risk, that their Vitamin D levels are SO low that it can cause depression and even cancer!!!!!!!! o.O So taking supplements, I swear by this - will improve your mood! Give it a try!

Bey i am not a big smoker at all man i smoked maybe 10 times in 20 years and ine night about a week ago yes a week and a day i had way to much i think me and my friend and i had a bad trip not really thinking i was dieing but just not myself at all i could not calm down well after some time that night it was like 1 in the morning i finally feel asleep the next day i was not feeling right i was not having all that fake stuff that was not
Me i just wasnt feeling myself at all man and now its about one week later and i feel soo much better bit still im not back to were i was before that night i dnt have really any attacks just not normal yet and was windering how long it will take for me to get were i was before this terrrrible night ??????
