Hello, I need some clarification. My father is 76 years old and he has been having some heart issues lately. Since we did not want to take any chance, we went to the doctor and he scheduled a Doppler ultrasound for his coronaries. What is that Doppler ultrasound commonly used for?

Basically, exploration of the blood vessels and determining the possibility of the changing processes that might have begun. And the coronaries are arteries of the heart and therefore the doctor will be able to say if there is some problem with the blood flow in the arteries or is there something else that should be taken care of.
