Not really. It is similarly incorrect as "Caucasian Americans usually have naturally narrow/fine/pointy noses."

In Africa, there are tribes (and peoples) with naturally thin lips; it's not racial so much as it is tribal. :) Many tribes, especially depending on where they're located on the continent, have a collection of features, many including fine noses. African-Americans are descended from one tribe (and one collection) of Africans. However, even then, there are many who do not have large lips and/or large noses, despite having very black skin.

Many hispanics with Euro-ancestry have large lips as well, but for some reason it's pushed into a kind of non-existent category; the same with Europeans, Native Americans or Asians, whom also have a collection of features that can or can not attribute to full lips to no larger a degree than it would to Africans. Many Westerners are not exposed to the large variety of ethnic groups in Asian, Native American, and African tribes, however.

What is the "usual" standard? What is seen in a daily life or what is shown in the media? I have wondered this.
