I quit using Lexapro on February 13, 2012 and am still having issues with dry mouth and mouth pain.  I never had this trouble until my Dr. upped my dosage of Lexapro to 20ml.  It seems to be the worst from 4-6:00 p.m.  It hurts wherever my teeth touch my mouth or lips and my tongue feels like it is burning.  Anyone else have symptoms like this for this long?
I stopped using Lexapro after approximately six months.  For me, it was the greatest stuff ever.  I was going through a really bad time in my life, divorce, moving, change of job, change of friends...everything that could change did.  I was a mess.  I was in a deep, deep depression and soooooo...down.  It fixed my problem.  I didn't care if it caused dry mouth.  I could focus, think about what I needed to do from hour to hour and not be distracted by all the terrible negative.  I got through the bad times.  I quit taking it because I would forget to.  If you forget to take it, you really do not need it.  But this was not the case for my daughter who is extremely addicted to it.  She also used it for the 'bad times' but for too, too long.  She is in extreme withdrawal which I did not experience.

If you have not been on it long...then think about stopping if at all possible.  It IS extremely addictive to the body.  YOU may not want to take it but your body may insist.  This is NOT good.

Is this a possible allergic reaction to lexapro? Has anyone had oral bumps, skin lesions on lips or tongue from using lexapro?
