my mother's fingertips is so dry somewhat cracking for 3years . we have applied so many creme and treatment yet, its no use. we are suspecting that that dryness of skin come from the detergent she was using before, i need an effective treatment to this . ***this post is edited by moderator *** ***

Your Mom already change detergent that's good. If it is possible to stay away from washing clothes or any kind of work related water it will helpful. Also use moisturizing hand wash to wash hands . Use good moisturizer .
