I have finally found the diet for me, but I have High cholesterol. My diet requires that I eat 10 oz of meat/fish per day. Is 10 oz of meat per day to much for a person with high cholesterol????????

Hi. I think 10 oz of meat and fish is pretty okay amount for your daily needs, but I would always suggest to eat more fish than meat, and as far as I know, pork meat has the most fat of all kinds of meat so I think if you have a high level of cholesterol you should totally avoid pork. The meat of great quality is lamb, beef etc and you should put the accent on buying these kinds rather than chicken and pork.
But variations are always good so you shouldn’t be sticked to only one or two sorts of meat. During the day you can combine meat, ham and fish, depends on the meal.
However, 10 oz is really not much unless it’s 300g of fat pork!
