If I am not mistaking here Normetanephrine is a metabolite of norepinephrine created by action of catechol-O-methyl transferase on norepinephrine. When this is elevated it means that something is not right in your urine. This substance is excreted in the urine and found in certain tissues in your body. I think that this has to do with your kidneys. Has your doctor told you anything about this condition? I think that this is not too alarming but you have to find a way to lover the level of normetanephrine. You have to talk to your doctor about this and see what is the best treatment option for your condition.
